Basic Life Support - BLS Provider/BLS Renewal/Heartcode BLS Skills Session
AHA BLS for healthcare professionals, includes Adult, Child, & Infant CPR and AED use. The course covers using a bag-valve mask(BVM), rescue breathing, mouth-to-mouth, breathing with advanced airway, opioid emergencies, maternal cardiac arrest, and choking relief. This course can be completed in two formats: 1- Instructor-led course, all videos, practice, skills testing and written exam with instructor in classroom. 2- Heartcode BLS Blended, online portion with videos, exam questions and practice scenarios is completed before the in person hands-on skills session. *When registering, please note: The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is the Instructor-led course, 3.5 hours in length. The Heartcode BLS w/ Online course and Hands-On skills session is the Heartcode BLS blended course. Your online course link will be assigned once you register and the date and time you register for is for the 1-hour in person, hands-on skills session. The Heartcode BLS skills session is for those that have already purchased the Heartcode BLS online course from eLearning.heart.org. The date and time you register for is for the 1-hour hands-on skills session. Email us the certificate of completion before your scheduled skills session.
Same Day BLS Skills Session
*BASED ON AVAILABILITY* This course can be set up for the morning, afternoon, or evening if you need to receive your BLS Provider certification today. Please contact us via call or text to check availability for a same day skills session. We will set up a 30 minute to 1 hour time frame to complete your hands-on skills at our office. You must have the AHA Heartcode BLS certificate of completion from eLearning.heart.org. The cost of the hands-on portion is $80 and we will send you a registration link once we schedule a time for the skills session.
Heartsaver CPR AED & Heartsaver First Aid
The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course is for anyone outside of the healthcare field. The course covers Adult CPR/AED and the child & infant CPR/AED portions are optional. The course also covers opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, choking relief, and water safety. The AHA Heartsaver First Aid course covers the following topics; First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, Prevention Strategies, and Preventing Illness & Injury. The Heartsaver CPR AED and Heartsaver First Aid can be taken together or independently.
Family and Friends
The Family and Friends CPR Course is a non-certification course that teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR. Optional topics include adult CPR with breaths and AED, child CPR and AED, infant CPR, and choking relief for mild and severe airway blocks for adults, children, and infants. Students will receive hands-on CPR practice time and a student manual. The cost of the course is $45.
